The Great Food Club

In the spirit of finding a silver lining in the otherwise relentlessly grim 2020, I want to share some of the fun I had researching and writing for Matt Wright’s ‘The Great Food Club’ this year.

Here are the places I’ve experienced in 2020.

In the warm spring weather, best friend Gillian and I walked the 100 miles of the Leicestershire Round. The Crab and Cow was a fitting venue for our first pub lunch in 4 months
Meal prep experts CHEFF swung into action early in the pandemic, providing healthy fresh food for the residents of Nottingham
It’s ordinary chippy – it’s the Cod’s Scallops
